great food and charming downtown parks nearby

We enjoyed a lovely weekend here, taking relaxing strolls to the beautiful Dr Glenn Mitchell Memorial Park and indulging in delicious bites at nearby restaurants like Square Burger which is just a few steps away from the hotel, making it easy to explore the vibrant downtown filled with art and history.

A charming atmosphere greets you upon arrival, enhanced by eclectic decor and friendly staff. The king room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful full-length mirror and a lovely skylight. Dining at the attached restaurant was a highlight, showcasing some of the best steaks in the area alongside an excellent wine selection. However, parking can be tricky as public lots are a short walk away, and the noise from nearby roads was somewhat disruptive during the night.

lovely decor

great dining

my stay at the grand was wonderful. the location was excellent, allowing easy walks to lots of shops nearby. the dining experience at the restaurant was fantastic, with attentive wait and bar staff. my deluxe king room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the artwork throughout the hotel was a lovely touch.
